About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner for clients in Sunderland. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across North East for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Handle a mixed caseload of residential property matters
- Progress files proactively to exchange and completion
- Advise clients on title, searches and lender requirements
- Work to the firm’s risk and compliance procedures
- Build relationships with local agents and introducers
- Support junior colleagues where appropriate
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- CLC or CILEX or Solicitor, CQS familiarity
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
