Focus Recruitment places Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment Consultant with consultancies and developers working in Exeter and across Devon. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.
What you will be doing
- Carry out Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and habitat surveys
- Write Ecological Impact Assessments and mitigation strategies
- Complete Biodiversity Net Gain metric calculations and BNG plans
- Undertake protected species surveys during the survey season
- Advise developers on ecological constraints at an early stage
- Liaise with local authority ecologists and Natural England
What you need
- Consultancy or local authority experience
- LVIA to GLVIA3, Chartered or working towards CMLI, ZTV and visualisation production
- Good written English and report writing
- GIS skills (QGIS or ArcGIS) an advantage
- Right to work in the UK
