About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Legal Aid Family Solicitor for firms in Barnsley and across Yorkshire and the Humber. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place legal aid family solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Handle private family work including financial remedy
- Conduct client meetings and take detailed instructions
- Prepare and manage court bundles
- Liaise with counsel, experts and other side
- Maintain accurate attendance notes and file records
- Support the firm’s family department targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- SRA admitted, LAA franchise experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
