About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Legal Aid Family Solicitor for firms in Kirkcaldy and across Fife. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place legal aid family solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage children and private law matters
- Attend court and represent client interests as appropriate
- Work with local authorities, CAFCASS and experts
- Maintain safeguarding awareness throughout
- Keep files compliant and up to date
- Meet agreed chargeable hours
What you need
- Proven experience as a legal aid family solicitor
- SRA admitted, LAA franchise experience
- Confident managing your own caseload
- Client-focused and professional approach
- Right to work in the UK
