About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Matrimonial Finance Solicitor for firms in Burton upon Trent and across Staffordshire. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place matrimonial finance solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of family matters including divorce and finance
- Advise clients sensitively and clearly on their options
- Prepare court documentation and attend hearings where required
- Draft applications, statements and correspondence
- Work within Legal Aid requirements where applicable
- Meet billing and file management standards
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted, Resolution member desirable
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
