About this role
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work with our clients in Kendal. Focus Recruitment has supplied trades across Westmorland and Furness for years, and our clients come back to us repeatedly for the same roles.
What you will be doing
- Service, repair and replace domestic boilers and heating systems
- Carry out gas safety checks and issue certification
- Diagnose faults on a range of appliance types
- Advise customers clearly on works required
- Maintain full and accurate job records
- Keep van stock and calibration up to date
What you need
- Proven experience working as a mechanical maintenance engineer
- NVQ Level 3
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Right to work in the UK
