About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Medical Negligence Solicitor for firms in Swansea and across Abertawe – Swansea. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place medical negligence solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims
- Assess liability, quantum and prospects of success
- Obtain medical evidence and expert reports
- Negotiate settlements with insurers and other side
- Work within portal and fixed costs regimes where applicable
- Meet file management and billing targets
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
