About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal for firms in Portsmouth and across Yorkshire and the Humber. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place residential conveyancing paralegals throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Handle a mixed caseload of residential property matters
- Progress files proactively to exchange and completion
- Advise clients on title, searches and lender requirements
- Work to the firm’s risk and compliance procedures
- Build relationships with local agents and introducers
- Support junior colleagues where appropriate
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- Law degree or CILEX part-qualified
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
