About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Road Safety Auditor for work across Stafford and the wider Staffordshire area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for road safety auditor runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Lead the transport and highways input on residential and commercial schemes
- Produce access strategies, swept path analysis and parking assessments
- Review collision data and propose highway safety improvements
- Coordinate traffic surveys and interpret the results
- Prepare Section 278 and Section 38 agreement information
- Support planning appeals and committee presentations
What you need
- Transport or highways consultancy experience
- Certificate of Competency in Road Safety Audit (GG 119), Collision analysis, Highways design background
- Confident working with local highway authorities
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Right to work in the UK
