Service and Breakdown Engineer Wanted in South Shields | Indeed

About this role

Focus Recruitment is recruiting Service and Breakdown Engineer for work across South Shields and the surrounding North East area. We work with contractors, facilities providers and housing groups who hire continuously in this region, so we place service and breakdown engineer year-round rather than on one-off adverts.

What you will be doing

• Attend planned and reactive call-outs across the patch
• Diagnose and repair heating and plumbing faults
• Carry out annual services and safety checks
• Keep accurate job records and van stock
• Communicate clearly with clients and tenants
• Work to appointment times and response targets

What you need

• Recent domestic or commercial experience in a similar role
• Gas Safe, ACS
• Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Professional manner with customers and site teams
• Right to work in the UK
