About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Debt Recovery Fee Earner for firms in Stockport and across North West. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place debt recovery fee earners throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of civil and commercial disputes
- Draft pleadings, applications and witness statements
- Advise clients on merits, risk and costs
- Attend hearings and instruct counsel
- Comply with CPR and court deadlines throughout
- Meet chargeable hours and billing targets
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- Debt recovery caseload
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
