About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Transport Assessment Consultant for work across Brighton and the wider The City of Brighton and Hove area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for transport assessment consultant runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans for planning applications
- Carry out TRICS trip generation and distribution analysis
- Model junction capacity using ARCADY, PICADY and LinSig
- Undertake site visits, parking surveys and accessibility audits
- Liaise with highway authorities on scoping and planning consultations
- Respond to consultee comments and attend technical meetings
What you need
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Transport Assessments and Transport Statements for planning, TRICS trip generation, Junctions 10 / LinSig modelling
- Good report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Right to work in the UK
