About this role
We recruit Childcare Solicitors for practices operating throughout Welwyn Garden City and Hertfordshire. This is a role we fill regularly, so registering puts your details in front of several firms at once.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of family matters including divorce and finance
- Advise clients sensitively and clearly on their options
- Prepare court documentation and attend hearings where required
- Draft applications, statements and correspondence
- Work within Legal Aid requirements where applicable
- Meet billing and file management standards
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted, Children Panel desirable
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
