Focus Recruitment places Transport Planner with consultancies and developers working in Worcester and across Worcestershire. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.

What you will be doing

• Design highway layouts, junction improvements and site accesses
• Assess the traffic impact of new development on the local network
• Produce reports and drawings to programme and budget
• Work with planners, drainage engineers and architects on the design team
• Check designs against DMRB, Manual for Streets and local standards
• Mentor junior staff and review their technical work

What you need

• Transport or highways consultancy experience
• Degree in transport planning, civil engineering or geography, Transport Assessment and Travel Plan experience, TRICS and junction modelling (ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig)
• Confident working with local highway authorities
• Ability to manage your own workload
• Right to work in the UK
