About this role
We have ongoing requirements for Acoustic Consultant covering Bradford. Development pipelines in Yorkshire and the Humber need technical assessments at every stage, from pre-application through to discharge of conditions, and our clients hire acoustic consultant on permanent, contract and freelance terms.
What you will be doing
- Prepare Air Quality Assessments for planning applications
- Run dispersion modelling for road traffic and energy plant
- Assess construction dust and odour risk
- Install and manage monitoring equipment
- Liaise with local authority air quality officers
- Contribute to Environmental Statement chapters
What you need
- Relevant degree in acoustics, environmental science or engineering
- Noise Impact Assessments (BS 4142, BS 8233, ProPG), IOA Diploma or acoustics degree, CadnaA or SoundPLAN modelling
- Experience with monitoring equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
