About this role
Our Angus clients have a standing need for a Criminal Paralegal, and we are registering candidates who can work in or near Barry. Hybrid arrangements are available with a number of firms.
What you will be doing
- Represent clients at the police station and in the Magistrates Court
- Prepare cases and take detailed instructions
- Review and analyse prosecution evidence
- Instruct counsel and experts where required
- Comply with Legal Aid and LAA requirements
- Participate in the duty rota
What you need
- Background in a comparable legal role
- Law degree
- Comfortable using case management systems
- Discreet and professional with confidential matters
- Right to work in the UK
