About this role

Focus Recruitment is recruiting District Heating Engineer for work across Portsmouth and the surrounding Yorkshire and the Humber area. We work with contractors, facilities providers and housing groups who hire continuously in this region, so we place district heating engineer year-round rather than on one-off adverts.

What you will be doing

• Maintain mechanical plant and building services systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond to reactive breakdowns within SLA
• Complete job sheets and asset records
• Support statutory inspection schedules
• Escalate significant defects appropriately

What you need

• Proven experience working as a district heating engineer
• NVQ Level 3, Gas Safe desirable
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Right to work in the UK
