About this role
Focus Recruitment has live vacancies for Daylight and Sunlight Consultant serving Portsmouth and nearby towns in Yorkshire and the Humber. Hybrid and site-based options are available, with roles at consultancies, local authorities and developers.
What you will be doing
- Prepare planning applications, Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements
- Coordinate specialist assessments from the consultant team
- Lead pre-application discussions with local planning authorities
- Manage planning appeals and conditions discharge
- Monitor local plans and policy changes
- Present at public consultation events
What you need
- Relevant degree in planning or environmental management
- BRE 209 daylight and sunlight assessments, Rights of light analysis, 3D modelling (Waldram, Mbs or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience of planning applications and appeals
- Right to work in the UK
