About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Remortgage Case Handler for firms in Rotherham and across Yorkshire and the Humber. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place remortgage case handlers throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Support fee earners across a busy conveyancing team
- Open files, order searches and chase enquiries
- Prepare completion statements and post-completion tasks
- Submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Keep clients and agents updated on progress
- Maintain accurate file records
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- Remortgage caseload experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
