About this role
We have ongoing requirements for a Private Client Solicitor in South Shields. Our North East clients range from long-established high street practices to growing regional firms, and several recruit continuously into this role.
What you will be doing
- Handle estate administration from start to finish
- Prepare IHT forms and apply for grants of probate
- Deal with asset realisation and distribution
- Communicate with beneficiaries clearly and sensitively
- Keep accurate estate accounts
- Meet billing and file review requirements
What you need
- Background in a comparable legal role
- SRA admitted, STEP desirable
- Comfortable using case management systems
- Discreet and professional with confidential matters
- Right to work in the UK
