About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Asbestos Surveyor for work across Stevenage and the wider Hertfordshire area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for asbestos surveyor runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Carry out Fire Risk Assessments in residential and commercial buildings
- Write action plans with clear priorities
- Inspect fire doors, compartmentation and alarm systems
- Advise on the Fire Safety Order and Building Safety Act duties
- Liaise with property managers and responsible persons
- Manage your own regional workload
What you need
- Experience in property, fire safety or asbestos surveying
- BOHS P402 (P403/P404 desirable), Management and refurbishment/demolition surveys, Full UK driving licence
- Able to manage your own diary
- Professional and client-facing
- Right to work in the UK
