About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Trainee Solicitor for clients in Peterborough. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across City of Peterborough for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Manage your own caseload of matters from instruction to conclusion
- Advise clients clearly on options, risk and costs
- Draft correspondence, documentation and applications
- Liaise with other side, counsel and third parties
- Maintain files to SRA and firm compliance standards
- Meet agreed billing and chargeable hours targets
What you need
- Proven experience as a trainee solicitor
- LPC or SQE, Training contract
- Confident managing your own caseload
- Client-focused and professional approach
- Right to work in the UK
