About this role
We are looking for Transport Planner to join our clients in Greenock. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across Inverclyde that are growing their assessment teams.
What you will be doing
- Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans for planning applications
- Carry out TRICS trip generation and distribution analysis
- Model junction capacity using ARCADY, PICADY and LinSig
- Undertake site visits, parking surveys and accessibility audits
- Liaise with highway authorities on scoping and planning consultations
- Respond to consultee comments and attend technical meetings
What you need
- Transport or highways consultancy experience
- Degree in transport planning, civil engineering or geography, Transport Assessment and Travel Plan experience, TRICS and junction modelling (ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig)
- Confident working with local highway authorities
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Right to work in the UK
