About this role
We are looking for Building Surveyor to join our clients in Bedford. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across Bedford that are growing their assessment teams.
What you will be doing
- Carry out Fire Risk Assessments in residential and commercial buildings
- Write action plans with clear priorities
- Inspect fire doors, compartmentation and alarm systems
- Advise on the Fire Safety Order and Building Safety Act duties
- Liaise with property managers and responsible persons
- Manage your own regional workload
What you need
- Experience in property, fire safety or asbestos surveying
- Condition surveys, dilapidations and defect diagnosis, MRICS or working towards, Degree in building surveying
- Able to manage your own diary
- Professional and client-facing
- Right to work in the UK
