About this role
We have ongoing requirements for a Business Development Director in Cambridge. Our Cambridgeshire clients include B2B service companies, contact centres, estate agents, car dealerships and technology businesses, and several hire into sales roles all year round.
What you will be doing
- Open new accounts across an assigned territory or sector
- Qualify opportunities and manage a structured sales process
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms within guidelines
- Track competitor activity and market trends
- Share insights with marketing and product teams
- Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets
What you need
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience, or a confident phone manner
- New business leadership, Commercial strategy, Senior stakeholder management
- Target-driven and resilient
- Clear, persuasive communicator
- Right to work in the UK
