About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Clinical Negligence Solicitor for firms in Great Yarmouth and across Norfolk. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place clinical negligence solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims
- Assess liability, quantum and prospects of success
- Obtain medical evidence and expert reports
- Negotiate settlements with insurers and other side
- Work within portal and fixed costs regimes where applicable
- Meet file management and billing targets
What you need
- Background in a comparable legal role
- SRA admitted, AvMA desirable
- Comfortable using case management systems
- Discreet and professional with confidential matters
- Right to work in the UK
