About this role
Focus Recruitment places Daylight and Sunlight Consultant with consultancies and developers working in Eastbourne and across East Sussex. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.
What you will be doing
- Prepare planning applications, Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements
- Coordinate specialist assessments from the consultant team
- Lead pre-application discussions with local planning authorities
- Manage planning appeals and conditions discharge
- Monitor local plans and policy changes
- Present at public consultation events
What you need
- Consultancy, developer or local authority planning experience
- BRE 209 daylight and sunlight assessments, Rights of light analysis, 3D modelling (Waldram, Mbs or similar)
- Able to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- Commercially aware and organised
- Right to work in the UK
