About this role
We recruit Criminal Solicitors for practices operating throughout Keighley and Yorkshire and the Humber. This is a role we fill regularly, so registering puts your details in front of several firms at once.
What you will be doing
- Represent clients at the police station and in the Magistrates Court
- Prepare cases and take detailed instructions
- Review and analyse prosecution evidence
- Instruct counsel and experts where required
- Comply with Legal Aid and LAA requirements
- Participate in the duty rota
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted, Duty solicitor status desirable
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
