About this role

If you are a Planning Consultant based in or near Hartlepool, we would like to hear from you. Our Hartlepool clients have a steady flow of planning-led projects and need specialists who can deliver robust, defensible assessments to deadline.

What you will be doing

• Prepare planning applications, Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements
• Coordinate specialist assessments from the consultant team
• Lead pre-application discussions with local planning authorities
• Manage planning appeals and conditions discharge
• Monitor local plans and policy changes
• Present at public consultation events

What you need

• Relevant degree in planning or environmental management
• Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements, Chartered or working towards MRTPI, Local plan and NPPF knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience of planning applications and appeals
• Right to work in the UK
