About this role

Focus Recruitment is recruiting Retrofit Assessor for work across Salford and the wider Yorkshire and the Humber area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for retrofit assessor runs year-round.

What you will be doing

• Prepare Energy Statements and Sustainability Statements for planning
• Run SAP and SBEM calculations
• Act as BREEAM Assessor from pre-assessment to final certification
• Advise design teams on Part L, overheating and renewables
• Collate and review evidence from the design team
• Report on carbon reduction and planning policy compliance

What you need

• Relevant qualification in building services, energy or sustainability
• Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment (PAS 2035), Domestic Energy Assessor (RdSAP), Full UK driving licence
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations
• Full UK driving licence for site visits
• Right to work in the UK
