About this role

We are looking for Heritage Consultant to join our clients in Dudley. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across West Midlands that are growing their assessment teams.

What you will be doing

• Prepare Heritage Statements and Heritage Impact Assessments
• Assess the significance of listed buildings and conservation areas
• Advise on listed building consent and design changes
• Carry out historic research and archive work
• Liaise with conservation officers and Historic England
• Support planning applications and appeals with expert evidence

What you need

• Heritage or archaeological consultancy experience
• Heritage Statements and Heritage Impact Assessments, Listed building and conservation area consent, IHBC membership or working towards
• Confident liaising with conservation officers
• GIS and historic mapping skills
• Right to work in the UK
