About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Probate Lawyer for clients in Huddersfield. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across West Yorkshire for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Handle estate administration from start to finish
- Prepare IHT forms and apply for grants of probate
- Deal with asset realisation and distribution
- Communicate with beneficiaries clearly and sensitively
- Keep accurate estate accounts
- Meet billing and file review requirements
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted solicitor or CILEX Lawyer, Experience in probate and estate administration
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
