About this role
We have ongoing requirements for a Senior Employment Solicitor in Brighouse. Our West Yorkshire clients range from long-established high street practices to growing regional firms, and several recruit continuously into this role.
What you will be doing
- Advising employers and senior executives on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Running Employment Tribunal claims from issue through to final hearing, including unfair dismissal and discrimination
- Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, contracts of employment and service agreements
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE processes
- Building long-term client relationships and supporting business development in Brighouse
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- SRA admitted, 6+ years PQE in employment law
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
