About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Employment Solicitor for clients in Sowerby Bridge. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across West Yorkshire for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Advising employers and senior executives on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Running Employment Tribunal claims from issue through to final hearing, including unfair dismissal and discrimination
- Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, contracts of employment and service agreements
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE processes
- Building long-term client relationships and supporting business development in Sowerby Bridge
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted, 6+ years PQE in employment law
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
