Focus Recruitment places Geo-environmental Consultant with consultancies and developers working in Aberdeen and across Aberdeen City. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.
What you will be doing
- Write Phase 1 Desk Studies and preliminary risk assessments
- Design and supervise Phase 2 ground investigations
- Interpret soil, gas and groundwater results
- Produce remediation strategies and verification reports
- Liaise with regulators to discharge planning conditions
- Log trial pits and boreholes on site
What you need
- Ground engineering consultancy experience
- Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 site investigations, Contaminated land risk assessment (CLR11 / LCRM), Degree in geology or environmental science
- Good technical writing
- Working towards chartership (CGeol, CEng or CEnv)
- Right to work in the UK
