About this role
Focus Recruitment places Biodiversity Net Gain Assessor with consultancies and developers working in Weston-super-Mare and across North Somerset. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.
What you will be doing
- Survey trees to BS 5837 and prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments
- Produce tree protection plans and method statements
- Assess landscape and visual effects of proposed development
- Prepare reports, figures and visualisations for planning
- Attend site meetings and supervise mitigation works
- Manage your own caseload of projects across the region
What you need
- Relevant degree in ecology, environmental science or similar
- Statutory Biodiversity Metric calculations, UKHab habitat survey and condition assessment, BNG plans and HMMPs
- Fieldwork experience in all weathers
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
