Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Civil Litigation Paralegal for firms in Elgin and across Moray. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place civil litigation paralegals throughout the year.

What you will be doing

• Manage a caseload of civil and commercial disputes
• Draft pleadings, applications and witness statements
• Advise clients on merits, risk and costs
• Attend hearings and instruct counsel
• Comply with CPR and court deadlines throughout
• Meet chargeable hours and billing targets

What you need

• Background in a comparable legal role
• Law degree
• Comfortable using case management systems
• Discreet and professional with confidential matters
• Right to work in the UK
